I’ve performed across the U.S. and internationally, built and managed bands, released music, marketed artists, created revenue streams, landed media opportunities, navigated the business side of music, and learned firsthand what it actually takes to turn talent into a career.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something: talent is only part of the equation.

So many incredible artists have the music. What they’re missing is someone to help them understand everything that comes after the music... branding, marketing, audience growth, opportunities, income, and the business decisions that can move their career forward.

That’s why I created Amplify Your Voice.

I’VE SPENT MORE THAN 25 YEARS IN MUSIC

I’ve been the lead singer of an award-winning Caribbean band since 1999 and later became the co-founder, owner, and manager of the multi-genre American band Latitude28. That means I’ve spent more than 25 years experiencing the music industry from very different sides of the stage, and the business.

Music has taken me across the U.S., Canada, the UK, Holland, Guyana, Suriname, Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Bahamas, Spain, and beyond.

Along the way, I’ve received awards including Video of the Year, Female Performer of the Year, Song of the Year, and Most Unique Style.

But performing was only one part of my education. I also wanted to understand the business behind building a sustainable music career, which led me to further my education in Music Business through Berklee and eventually combine that knowledge with everything I was learning firsthand.

I DIDN’T JUST LEARN THIS. I LIVED IT.

In 2018, I co-founded Latitude28.

In just two years, we went from rehearsing in a garage to becoming a full-production,

internationally touring stage band.

We weren’t backed by a major label or some huge industry machine. And we didn't just focus on performing. We treated the band like a business and built the brand, marketing, audience, relationships, opportunities, and revenue around the music.

Along the way, we:

• Built a recognizable artist brand and growing audience
• Landed television, radio, and press interviews
• Released original music and launched our first album
• Collaborated with established artists
• Appeared on billboards around the country, including Times Square
• Created multiple streams of income from our music and brand
• Produced our own reality series, Making It With Latitude28, on Amazon Prime
• Successfully produced and executed a U.S. music tour during the pandemic

• Secured opportunities/roster placements with brands and venues including Disney, Hard Rock, and Margaritaville

But what mattered most wasn’t any one accomplishment. It was learning how to create opportunities instead of waiting for someone in the industry to hand them to us.

That experience became a huge part of what I now teach through Amplify Your Voice.

My experience in music is only part of what I bring to AYV.

I’m also trained in coaching, psychology, and human behavior, with additional education in music business, marketing, branding, and artist development. That combination has shaped the way I work with artists... because building a music career isn’t only about knowing what to do. It’s also about having the confidence, clarity, mindset, and support to actually do it.

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside artists and industry professionals, from performers and producers to radio personalities, attorneys, executives, and other people behind the scenes, and I’ve seen just how confusing this business can feel when you’re trying to figure everything out on your own.

You shouldn’t have to know everything already.

My job is to help you understand what matters, cut through the noise, and build a strategy that makes sense for you, your music, and the career you’re trying to create.
